I will be a chef, or a commando. But I would rather pick being a chef. Why? Because I love cooking and I always help my Mom. And wouldn’t you prefer to be a superhero? No, I don’t want that anymore, I was a superhero at the last year’s carnival.
I’ll work in a nail salon, or I’ll be a hairdresser or chef. But maybe all three at the same time. Say I’ll be a chef from 6 AM until 3 PM, then from 4 PM until 9 or 10 in the evening a hairdresser or a chef. And when will you have time to relax? Surely, I’ll have some free time. I might not work on Sundays and Mondays then. But waking up early doesn’t bother me, I can get up anytime.
I am only in third grade but I’d much rather be in 4th grade because I could already work at the Children’s Railway then. Kids in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade can participate already, sixth graders can even be ticket inspectors, I really can’t wait for that. And what’s next? Then, I’ll work for the Pioneers’ Railway…, that’s what comes after the Children’s Railway. Then, I’ll be a ship-captain.
I’ll write down here what I will be, OK? A police GIRL, that’s what. And I’ll have the uniform, and a police dog, and it will be a GIRL too, and she will have a bow in her hair. I’ll always tell her to ‘sniff’! Isn’t this profession rather for boys? No, I think girls can be police officer
15% of primary school pupils in Hungary are Roma. One out of every three Roma child studies in Roma only class, separated from non Roma in most cases physically. Chance for Children Foundation works on reducing this number to zero as children like Gabi, Zsuzsi and Ádám can only reach their potential through integrated, high quality education. Gabi, Zsuzsi, Ádám and many of their peers study at the Invisible Study Hall of CFCF. Budapest, 2013.
